Winter time is always a busy time at Finlay Park, lost of maintenance and fixing and then there is the opportunity to create something new. And this winter it has been relocating the shooting gallery. Ian managed to purchase a full gull wing truck that electronically unfolds to expose the entire side and give access to the air rifle range. There is still the complete focus on safety with the tubes to assist with direction and the full protection of the plastic drop sheet to prevent ricochets.
From the back of the gull wing there is a new archery range for all ages who want to try out their “Hunger Games” skills. There are either kids long bows or recursive bows available. There are at different strengths so you can choose the most comfortable for you.
As always there is an instructor right there to offer tips and trick and to ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time.
