Help to organise a camp

At Finlay Park we like to make organising a camp as easy as possible so we have our Program Manager, Joe Hall, ready to assist you in all aspects of camp organisation. Once you have decided on dates and got your booking sorted you can both work through what you would like to achieve from your specific camp, what activities you would like, and of course the cost of your camp. This can sound daunting but if you can answer 2 questions about your camp he can get your program started…

  1. How many people are you expecting at camp? Broken down into kids and adults.
    • From this he can work out how many activity groups you will need
  2. What activities would you like to do?
    • This gives the the info to start looking at the program, schedule and costs. If you have not been to camp or are unsure of the activities then Joe can help by recommending activities for your campers ages, abilities and what other experiences they may have had, just give him a call or email. If you have some activities that you would like to bring down let us know and Joe will add these into the schedule.

The answer to these 2 questions are all that is required to get the camp organisation started. He has prepared hundreds of camp programs, each one individually customised, and he will do the same for you. Joe will then come back to you with a full camp schedule and timings for the entire camp, a breakdown of all the groups and activities and an itemised estimate of your camp cost.

From there is the program does not meet your camp goals or budget then just give Joe a call and he can tweak, change or redo the program to meet your camps specific needs.

Once you have your program signed off then Joe will guide you through anything else that is required for camp and make sure that you have all the information that you need. And if your camp is a catered camp he will help you get your campers and adults dietary requirements together ready for the kitchen so everyone can get the correct meals.

And if you have any questions at any time, Just give Joe a call. He loves to help you to get your camp running as smooth as possible.
